Oh man oh man OH MAN!!!
I am a very, VERY happy little bleached blond girl today.
I don't know what happened while I was sleeping last night...but I woke up this morning and could not WAIT to get to the computer and start WRITING!!!
As some of your are aware, I've had a nasty case of writer's block for about two months now - and whatever it was that was stifling the creative flow has apparently resolved itself. I've already written 4 pages in my book this morning.
I'm taking a break now because my brain is swarming with how this book is going to end, and I'm kinda letting it all "gel". As soon as I'm finished playing around here on my favorite site, I'm going to go and shower and take care of my usual girlie regimen - sort of wash away the last 10 weeks of mental contipation...
...and then I'm going to knock off some more of my book.
This is so, SO great!! I'm so excited I can't sit still. I'm all fidgety in my chair
Hmm.....maybe next time I'm afflicted wtih writer's block....I'll just get another piercing. Perhaps poking a hole in my face cleared up the inner workings.....?

Its funny you bring Adam Ant up. My co-worker, who likes to do weird things with songs, was saying something to the effect of "You don't drink, you don't smoke, what do you do?" and I walked in there and told him...
I have on pink socks ... but you know, Dirk Wears White Socks.
He had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. They think I am so random at work. That is how I amuse myself all day long. I don't like my day job and that is sad.
Which reminds me ... your book sounds amazing. It is a concept that I can relate to. Childhood is weird. But I'm over it. I'm really glad you're writing.
As far as my fave NBK scenes and lines: To be honest it's really hard. That movie has the most significant meaning to me. So many lines and scenes have defined the most influential and meaningful period in my life. Hhhhmmm...lines: When Mal says to Mickey "Wherever we go, and whatever happens Mickey, I look up at the stars, and I know you're lookin at the same ones....You make everyday feel like Kindergarten!" That's how Sickgirl22 makes me feel! All warm and fuzzy inside.
Scenes-The wedding scene is the most meaningful to me. I WILL get married just like that someday!
Off to finish laundry. Hopefully I'll be done by 1 am.
