Sooo.....we dropped off all the paperwork today to offficially get the granny-in-law an admittance date at the "residential care facility" - This Monday, Jan. 17.
I can do 5 more days of sleep rationing. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and all that...
The place is VERY nice - lots of docs and nurses on staff, swanky rooms, and a huge, pretty activity/visiting area. I feel much better about all this after checking the place out myself.
I was, however, disturbed at one of the residents. A guy with cerebral palsy - looked to be in his late twenties. I got all choked up watching him - I can't even BEGIN to imagine what it's like for him. To have your body completely working against you....very little control over it...but your mind is just FINE. And I have the nerve to feel sorry for myself about a little sleep deprivation.
On a lighter note - I got to sneak out and do a little girlie shopping this afternoon. Victoria's Secret is having a KILLER sale, and that ALWAYS cheers me up
I found two cute little push up styles - nude and bubblegum pink, and some undies to match. Lifted my spirits a good bit 
I had posted some cleavage shots of my in my new pink bra.....but came to hear that a certain 14 year old male relative of mine back in Chicago peeks at this site sometimes.
So I had to pull them. Apparently, a friend's older brother is a member...and well....you know how 14 year olds are.
