Holy shit! I have to go but I'll append this entry when I get to the office, as I don't want to be late. (And no, I'm not working for "the man", you assholes!) I have so many photos to show everyone. I've been having to keep my new haircut a secret while I waited for this set to go up so FINALLY you guys get to see some recent photos of me! I also have quite a few amazing behind-the-scenes shots from my set that the lovely Linds shot.
I'd like to quickly throw a thank-you out to Jocelynn who shot the set and S_Eldorado who was menacing in the background and who is a ninja with the razor. (Clippers? Whatever.) Also, thanks to Linds' boyfriend Nigel Nunn who provided the lighting for the set.
If you haven't seen it yet, check out my brand new set:

UPDATE: Here are some stills from the shoot, taken by Linds...

[I want a print of this photo, I think it's fantastic.]

It was so hot and humid in the room we were in with those hot lights and five people in one place - the hair was sticking to my butt. In some photos it looked like I had megabush because there were tufts of hair clinging to my girliest bits, too.
And here are some photos from the last month that I haven't been able to show because the head thing was a secret!

At the fireworks finale - it's this huge thing in Vancouver, an estimated 300,000 people all come downtown all at once to watch them. It's a sea of people on a beach... absolutely ridiculous. This was an hour or two before they started. We came early to get a good spot!

The day before my birthday - showing off my new kitchen.

On the ferry to Saltspring Island.

L-R Linds, Mal, Tim at the Zombie Walk - yes, I am VERY dramatic.

"Waiting for life to begin in front of the old bank turned record store." L - R Mal, Jonny, Kevin, Chelsea outside of the Genghis Tron show at The Pic, Weds Aug 30.

I like my wine cheap and red.

I had a party - those are my DDR pads on the floor. And also me.
