I usually just put them outside. But the call is always for murder.
Well, school's over for the summer. Not so much for me quite yet, though. Still gotta write that research paper I've been putting off. Shouldn't be too terribly hard, but I hatehatehatehate research papers, so it nonetheless stings. Still, once that's out of the way I'll have three or four weeks of unadulterated relaxation during my time at home. Hot relaxation. Bloody renters went two...

Yep The heat really sucks this year.I just don't about those people that think that Isreal can do no wrong. All I can guess is blind patriotism. People block out the negative and focus on the postive. Not too many wanna have discussion anymore. They just want espouse thier opinions and ideas. They have had ideas for so ideas gfor so long that think ideas are thonly right ones.

I think part of it might be that there are so many on the opposite side, willing and ready to condemn Israel for things that they don't bat an eye at when done by other countries (or at least, don't condemn nearly as harshly). Israel isn't above reproach, clearly, but it's not the pure evil that a lot of people (including a lot of American leftists) seem to think it is, either.
There might be a lot of blind support of Israel, but I think there's also a lot of blind hatred, too. And neither one is accurate or helpful. *sigh*
Ooooh! A date, eh?

This hasn't been a good month for mail. I've had two Netflix DVDs delayed by a day, one that hasn't shown up yet, a Gamefly game that shipped on the 8th and just arrived today (unless Gamefly was confused and shipped Monster Hunter when they said Devil Kings. Dunno.)...
One more week of class, got the final and a make-up day and that's that. Which...

Generally I'm in...well, not the peak of health, since I'm mildly overweight and nowhere near fit...but the worst illness I've had in my entire life was one bout with the chickenpox. Sometimes I get colds, and very, very occasionally I get the flu and spend a day or two nauseous and fevery, but otherwise I am apparently immune. To make up for this, I have...

I like how anything you write about, even allergies, is well written.
Sorry you got 'em.
I don't know how many of you remember Talisman, the old Games Workshop fantasy hack-n-slash boardgame. The host of the game party I go to every week has the second edition (third came out, I guess, but sounds much less interesting.) and all the expansions, including a pretty professional fan-made expansion that one of the other regulars put together based on Warhammer's chaos-related material. While...

Talking with a friend of mine from a MUCK I frequent. She's an English major and one of the funniest, sexiest people I have ever met, with an amazing command of the language. (Yes, I want her in the worst way, but I don't expect that to go anywhere IRL since she lives halfway across the continent.) What are we talking about? Well, I got...

Hi, Malkavian brother!
Newses:
The only really significant news is that my 200 gigabyte hard drive is acting up again. Data read errors, Cyclic redundancy check failures. That sort of thing. I have discovered that there is software for dealing with this sort of thing, which seems a bit strange as it's a hardware problem at the core...but what the hell, I've downloaded it and will see if...

Hah, I probably won't get the job.. as cool as it would be.
I meet the requirements and more; I could play all the TES and Fallout games blindfolded, I'm a pretty good writer when I set my mind to it and I have experience, but... who knows, I'll just say that.
*stretches*
I should know better than to start reading one of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files novels at home. Oh, for the first 100 pages or so I could put it down and go do other things, and did. And then things got well and truly going and I absolutely had to know what happened next. And next thing I know five hours are gone like...

all i have to say is wow. you have me at a "run for my money" as a good debater as far as gaming goes, you look at the big picture, which frustrates me in my store as far as the casual gamer goes as i talk to them im my store, are you just a gamer or are you in the part of the indestry??? as far as selllers go?? sorry for the bad spelling i'm drunk, i would love to talk to you as im drunk it would make for a good discussion. good points for the ps2, but i honestly think the ps3 is doomed, maybe i'm wrong and honestly i hope so a monoply in any indistry is bad but we'll see what happens, good talking to you about all this pointless stuff and best of luck in you gaming!!

Hahaha!
Seriously, the picture was no big deal. It might be gone by now--it was in my pix folder and I deleted it, but it didn't disappear from the boards right away at the time--anyway, it was really not scandalous. I see swimsuits all the time in public places (in polite, modest Minnesota, no less) that cover FAR less than the shorts I was wearing in that pic.
So now you know!

So, I'm in an English Composition course this summer, much to my dismay. Oh, it's not that the class is really all that bad. As usual, I'm surprised by how much I like people on a small scale. Not masses of people, not the faceless annoyances that populate my day to day existence...but if I get to interact one on one or in a small...

Ah, I hear ya. I've been getting paid fairly well this summer, and it's all I can do to keep myself from buying half of the ridiculous shit I want to buy. I'm probably not cut out for wealth, either.
Unless it's massive wealth. I could do that pretty well, once that massive wealth is established.
Is it sick and wrong that part of me kind of misses writing papers already?

Ahhh, I see. So then I got it entirely backward--sorry about that.
It's a good way to be, what you're talking about. The money alone isn't reason enough to change it.

I really have to wonder why ignoring a member via the little hovery window takes you to their page. I mean, the point is to get their inane bullshit out of your life, and the ignore link plops you right in the middle of it. Bah.

I had to come back, read the comment I left, and think about it for a minute before I understood the antimatter orangutans.
(I'm a little tipsy; the brain's movin' slightly slow.)
Dude, don't lose hope. It can totally happen. You just have to convince SG that they need an antimatter orangutan army.
