You know how a week or two back I complained about SG's new look? I'm still not convinced it provides access to quite as much content quite as easily, but I do sort of like it now.
Gamespot's new site redesign, on the other hand...GAH. I know there are new features being put in as part of the redesign, and I think some of them sound decent enough (though I can't think of any feature I have any plans to start using.). But the redesign is an eyesore, and there's an increasing emphasis on video that I dislike. Sure, I have the bandwidth for video...but I don't want to use it on video from Gamespot. I don't want to see the game in action in a teeny little blurry video on a website, I want to see it in action on my TV, or on my computer. I don't want to hear video reviews, because, frankly, text delivers reviews more palatably and accessibly...not to mention faster.
Of course, some of my negative reaction is simply due to the fact that it's broken. And I'm sure they'll have fixed *that* in a day or two.

"I'll read it if/when there's ever a trade paperback of it. Never have held with the single issue format. Not very durable and you frequently miss out on extras like introductions, behind the scenes stuff, etc. In most cases I also don't like to have to wait for the next tiny snippet of the story, but I guess that's not as much of an issue here."
The behind the scenes stuff goes in the singles -- IF there is a trade, the backmatter won't be in it.
Just FYI.
