Sorry, just got off the phone setting up the gas/electric billing account in my name for the first time ever - a process hindered by a) the energy company representative ("Harry") having a very thick accent. I'm not sure what sort, exactly, so I won't say. But I have my doubts that Harry was his real name. b) his computer being a computer and thus not letting him do something important in the setup process, and c) the really stupid automated answering service the energy company had.
And then they transferred me to some company called ConnectSmart, which apparently handles accounts for the energy company, as well as the phone company, the cable company, and DirectTV, and he would not shut up about this great deal DirectTV was offering, ending today. Yeah, I don't fucking watch television. Not paying for it. Go away.
