This is shaping up to be one of those days. Yesterday I decided to go shopping, threw on my windbreaker and left without checking the temperature. After all, it was sunny 75 when I left for Iowa, surely it couldn't be all *that* cold now, right? Heh. 20 degrees out, with powerfully cold winds. I had to abandon my shopping and head right home, and even then I evidently must have been exposed too long. Since after around 4 or 5 my throat started feeling sore, and by midnight I had a raging fever, chills, headache and all that other good stuff. So I went to bed, and arranged the covers into my own personal sauna (I was giving off that kind of heat). Which made for a very fitful and unenjoyable night's sleep...and then I woke up this morning a mere five hours after going to bed. So much fun! At least the fever's mostly gone, although my throat's still sore and I'm kind of dizzy. Erg.
