So I got paid yesterday, and today I spent something like 80% of the paycheck on Amazon in a last ditch use of my shortly-expiring free Prime membership. I bought:
Alan Moore's The Lost Girls (slightly less than $50!)
Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Collection (Okay, so granted, I have the first one already, but it wasn't really much more than DMC3 Special Edition on its own, and DMC2 may not be the best game ever, but I'll take it.)
Guild Wars Nightfall (Turns out Amazon had it on sale as well as Gamestop, and I'll take no taxes any day.)
Resident Evil 4 (for PS2 because of the extra content. Gamestop's selling it for two bucks less, but I expect the sales tax would annul most of the benefit and my local store doesn't have any used copies according to their website, so fuck it.)
In Extremo's CD "Weckt Die Toten" (I've wanted it essentially since I heard my first album of theirs. I should've bought it in Germany when I had the chance, but silly me.)
Rammstein's "Rosenrot" (Okay, so I downloaded this the fucking second it came out, but I want a legit copy too.)
Koji Suzuki's novel "Loop", third in the "Ring" trilogy. (I've been anticipating it forever, and then it finally came out and I couldn't really spare the cash. Now it shall be MINE! Ahahahahahahahaha!)
Don't worry, I haven't gone crazy. I have over a hundred dollars in Christmas cash that I will now use to buy important things. Well, mostly...I still have a Big Brain Comics gift certificate to use up, and I'd be surprised if I didn't have to throw in a little bit of cash to get the things I want from them.
But I'm not going to starve or anything.
