Just in case folks hadn't noticed from my suddenly posting a bunch on the boards and in my groups: I'm back from Thanksgiving vacation. Was back yesterday, actually, but didn't feel like journalling. So yeah.

Nothing particularly astonishing or exciting happened.Since none of you are familiar with my family, there's not much point telling stories. I will say, though, that my younger cousin Trevor is growing quite dramatically. A year or two back it was a shock that he was suddenly deep-voiced and donning grunge couture. This year, he proved to be at least a few inches taller than me, and I'm one of the tallest members of my family. He also had a rather foxy girlfriend in tow and while she's not really much of a gamer, I'm still envious. I mean, granted, his brothers are already married and the oldest has two daughters, but I never really had much in common with them. They're both sports geeks and into cars and golf and other such things and computers were simply a conveyance for virtual golf games on days they couldn't play for real. Trevor, on the other hand, is definitely a geek of my stripe. An avowed PC gamer with a preference for RPGs and adventure games, he also watches anime, plays tabletop roleplaying games like Exalted, and so on. On the other hand, he mastered Ninja Gaiden for Xbox, so I think he's a bit better at the games than I. And now romance also...

Oh well. One of these days.
