Been quiet lately because nothing especially significant in my life has been going on. I've just been doing the usual mix of school, work, movies, video games, gaming with friends, reading books and comics, and so on. I keep hoping I'm right about the connection I think I'm making with a girl at work, but of course I'm far too shy to actually ask her out, so. Bah.
I'll be away for a few days for Thanksgiving vacation. Heading down to Des Moines to see my family (all of them, for once) as of around noon tomorrow and I'll get back late Sunday. Six hour bus trip each way for the win. Oh well. There *is* internet access at my grandparents' house. It's even high speed. But this being a porn site...well, I somehow don't think they'd approve. Anyway, hopefully I'll be too busy with family activities to need that internet fix, though just in case there's downtime I'm bringing a couple thousand pages worth of reading material (I will finish at least one book and probably a good chunk of the next just on the bus, I guarantee you.) and a dozen or so portable games for my handhelds. What can I say, I like to be prepared.
