As the elections approach, especially given some of the discussions going on on the boards, I'm starting to research my candidates. I think I'm pretty happy with Mike Hatch for governor and Betty McCollum as my US congresswoman. Not as sure about Amy Klobuchar, for US Senate (she supports the Mexico fence), but she'll have to do. And I'm good with my current Minnesota state senator (though she voted for a stadium. Ick. I'm very much with her on most other stuff, though.).

What I'm noticing, though...wow do some of the 3rd party folks have terrible websites. See, for example, Bill Dahn, the Independence party candidate for the state senator race I'd vote in. Looks like an AOL member's homepage.

Sound like you have good choices in Minnesota. I just wish we some good one here in Illinois.I just hope our 3rd party for govenor Rich Whitney can pull it out somehow. I He would be alot better the 2 main people running. Espically our current gov. who one of his main contributers has been indicted. But has completly dissapeared from the face of the earth.

NO worries. I know I'll lose my scholarship, but it was 2000/yr, which I can easily save up (along with the rest of my tuition) during one semester of working.

What was your major?
