So I had a birthday. It contained stuff. Not very much stuff, but then I gather that's part of this "being technically an adult" business, that presents drop off in quantity. Main thing is I wound up with Season 1 of Carnivale, so I am shiny.
Also finally got my hands on a legit copy of Titan Quest, and Dragon Warrior VIII, as well as some weird survival horror game called Siren, today. That was just me spending paycheck money, though, not gifts.
I dunno. My summer's going fine, but then fine isn't very interesting unless I feel like rambling about the games I've been playing. And in this case, it's mostly games that are fun but not especially meaningful.
That said, there is one fairly cool bit of news: that friend of mine agreed to work on that interactive fiction story I've been wanting to do, and we're in the brainstorming phase. Things could still fall to pieces at any given moment, of course, but things are at least in motion for the time being.

(And thank you for the compliment.
Really? It says 1969? SG's been on some kind of crack lately.
