A minor little acquisition notice:
The 300 gigabyte Seagate Barracude SATAII hard drive I ordered last Thursday showed up today. I got it installed with surprisingly little fuss. I now have a total of (theoretically) 500 GBs of storage on my PC. I have this strange suspicion it's going to run out sooner than one might suppose.
I went a bit nuts at Gamestop and acquired The Mark of Kri (PS2, $5), Tenchu: Return From Darkness (Xbox, $9), Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (Xbox, $10), Kuon (PS2, $13), and Echo Night: Beyond (PS2, $10). Two survival horrors, one action/stealth, one stealth, and one action RPG, in no particular order. Odds of my actually playing any of them at all for some weeks....not high. I suppose, when it comes down to it, I was afraid they would vanish before I did have time to play them.
Also: a used copy of the complete series DVD of American Gothic. So far, soooo good.
