Further updates: Dog is away again. Very cuddly, very cute...breath a terrible, noxious stench. I'm just as glad, really. I'm not a dog person. I enjoyed being around this one for a few days. He's quiet and prone to sleeping a lot. But even he was more high maintenance than I want in a pet, and I'm just not mentally geared to play with him the way he occasionally wanted.

I'm surprised by how good Fullmetal Alchemist is. From what little I'd heard about it before it sounded like silly fluff, like a lot of popular anime series. But Netflix is kind of a "eh, why not" enabler, so I tried it, and it's actually very intelligent and engrossing and very dark in theme. With splashes of utter goofiness.

Sopranos season 5 turned out to be, in the end, as solid as any season of that fine show. The Adriana storyline is..tear-jerking.

I did beat Phoenix Wright. The last case uses the DS much more fully and I really hope further games in the series (if there are to be any) follow suit. I have been shipped Suikoden Tactics to replace Suikoden IV. Not really what I had in mind. (Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner and Black were the first two things in my queue), but ah well, Phoenix Wright's replacement will make up for it. Also in Gamefly news...I have no idea why, but they refunded my money for my purchase of Destroy All Humans! (Xbox). Soooo weird.

My computer is reassembled, mostly, but apparently the video card's fan came loose, so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to see if my friend can fix that. I'm also out a hard drive: there was a bent connector pin that came loose.
