I have now defeated all 16 colossi. 13 and 14 were my favorites. 13 is a huge, entirely peaceful aerial snakey thing. You can eventually get it to fly close enough to the ground that you can make a leap from your galloping horse to one of its wings. Beautiful and while it's not very hard, it seems very adventurous. #14's another big puppy, but much more dangerous. That's not why I liked it, though. I liked it because the fight is basically a big old platforming sequence through an incredible ruined city area.
The 15th was interesting, but frustrating because the fight relies on it doing certain things I couldn't reliably convince it to do.
The 16th was awe-inspiringly huge. It was practically a tower unto itself. And, naturally, much, much more elaborate than most of the others. I give it lower marks for being, likewise, quite frustrating (mostly because I kept jumping and getting blasted rather than dive-rolling and getting to safety. Also, unlike the other colossi, if you fall off once you're up any part of it, you're probably dead. You're too far from cover to prevent it from simply blasting you over and over until you die.)
After that, 3x as much cutscenes and story as the entire rest of the game combined. Very much brings the whole experience to a proper close.
That was one HELL of a game.
