Colossi #11 and 12 down. 11 was like a large, homicidal puppy. I felt bad about killing it. The same cannot be said for #12, which was a giant waterbeast that was complicated to kill...but not really hard. Unlike the previous ranged attackers, the blasts from this one were fairly easily dealt with, and outside of that it posed no actual threat. Nor did it require anything as tricky as the acrobatics from 10. Yeesh.
5 episodes into Season 5 of the Sopranos now. It's weird having Steve Buscemi as a regular. He's so instantly identifiable, yet unlike everyone else on the show, it's far from his breakthrough role. As a whole...mm. I still think the first two seasons were the best. It's lost some of its edge, and nothing in the later seasons compares to Richie Aprile or the tragedy of Big Pussy Bompensiero. None of which makes it any less than fine television, of course. Especially when there's so little else of any quality.

I haven't read any of his other books because it's rare that I have the time to read for pleasure. Hopefully, that'll change this summer. Thanks for your recommendations. They are now added to my list of summer reading.
