Minor update on the workish situation: the meeting I was worried about was, indeed, worrisome. Specifically, it was a formal reprimand. Apparently I was not meeting my duties as a page. Or something. It boiled down to: I'm not shelving fast enough. Well..yeah. Probably true. It's about as fast as I've been shelving for 5 years now, but then the first 4 or so were under a different supervisor, so, different standards, I guess. And that section's harder to keep an eye on because it's back behind the desk where the librarians work, instead of kind of off to the side where they can see me coming and going. And she's met with me before about it, and I do honestly try to do better, but there's only so fast I can go, even at top speed, and I'm not sure it's fast enough. So I guess I start looking for a new job. Maybe I can keep up, maybe I can't. It'd be good to have some idea where to go next if I can't, though.
