ok, so I got to talk to him for an hour and a half or so... we both snagged someone else's cells... it made everything seem so so so much better. 
he's going to try and come see me the weekend of the 15th
I really hope it works.. I'm not going to get too excited about it though, we've seen how that always turns out... so, I'll just hope it happens, and if not, ah well.
I also had a bit of HOTT HOTT HOTT phone boning which also made me feel a little better.
hearing the "i love yous" though is all that I cared about... it made me SO happy.
