ok guys.. it was a grand idea to ME... you really aren't missing out anything, so don't be disappointed.
it was just that if he didn't come for fourth of july, we could get married right after july 15th..
he's coming for fourth of july, and we are getting married august 1st.
partially because I can't skimp out on the party I am planning for myself (lol, lame I know), but mainly because both of the gunnery seargents from his shop are retiring in july and if we get married and then he has to turn the paperwork into them everything will all get fucked up, they have made that quite clear.
not that its any of their damn business but they say that they are just trying to help him because he is wasting his life away blah blah.. sorry, its not our fault they are miserable by their own choice. oh well... whatever.
