Man: (averting his gaze, speaking low) "You must be mistaken."
The man in the aisle shoves his hands deep into his pockets and slowly idles on down the aisle, then makes his way toward the door, leaving.

Walking closer, broom in hand to sweep whatever it is into the bucket, the store clerk peers closer to find that it's a human ear. Wet with red about the backside, pasted now to the dirtied tiles.
