I had a good chance to think...figure out what I was really fired for (since the reasons behind the firing were sketchy). I think that I got fired because this week I had "talked back" to the bosses wife. She decided that we should no longer have the phone at the front of the store, so we couldn't make phone calls, or answer the phone. This is after she said that she'd been watching the shop videos and saw us girls on the phone for more than an hour at a time. I first said that I wasn't one of those people, as I have no one to call, and then proceeded to tell her why it was a safety issue to not have the phone accessible. She seemed annoyed by my logic...and my knowledge of past occurances at the cafe in which the phone was absolutely needed for 911 calls.
So the only thing that I can come up with is that I got fired for thinking for myself, and making the bosses wife look stupid (and the very real possibility that I have "weird hair" )They'll be hearing from me tomorrow, I need some closure.
