I'm going in for surgery on April 9th, I just had my pre-op appointment today. It's nothing too major; I have a ganglion cyst on my wrist that needs to be removed. It just so happens to be right where my wrist rests on the mouse pad, so it has become painful.

I've had it for about a year now. I booked an appointment about 8 months ago and finally got in to see a doctor in January. He drained it, and unfortunately it came back the next day. It's not huge, but it certainly causes me problems; especially since I'm in front of a computer most of the time.

I'm not all freaked out about the surgery, just a little worried about the fact that I don't get to eat for at least 15 hours that day. I'm going to wake up and crawl to the vending machines

I'll be in a half cast for 2-3 weeks, which also means that I can't work, and thus I'm going to be low on funds (translation: NO money) for the month of April.
