Starting a new job tomorrow, getting a car this week for said job. Oh gawd I'm nervous, but this is just the change that I needed so badly!
I said that I'd be out of Wal-mart at the end of December...I'm a couple weeks late, but I did it. I'm not working at that hell hole of a job anymore! Tonight is my last shift. Oh how I wish that my department manager was in so that I could tell her to go fuck herself.
She's worse than the customers, because she just doesn't go away. She's the most immature, useless, unprofessional person that I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I hope that she has a wondefully fun filled eternity at her dead-end job...because she's not going anywhere better anytime soon. She's not fit to become an assistant manager unless she grows the fuck up, and works on that terrible personality of hers. It brings me great pleasure to know that she'll be struggling this week with the complete lack of staff. She's lost her full timer, and her day-time part timer (me), as well as 1 employee that's on vacation.
Oh that feels good.
Money will still be really tight for the next month or so. I will still be doing far better than I would be at Wal-mart with the whole 12 hours a week that they cut me down to this time of year....plus, I'll have a car.
I'm excited but nervous...here's hoping that it all goes well.
