OMG, zombies!


The boy and I went to a wedding this weekend, so I decided to rent a car to make travelling easy. Due to the large number of accidents on Friday though, it took about twice as long to get there. At least I got a reminder of how horrible it is to drive in rush hour. tongue

Saturday evening I got to ride in a limo for the very first time biggrin The wedding was beautiful. Even though I'm not fond of the idea of getting married, it's nice to watch others get married.

It was an (almost) open bar all night, and I think that over the course of the evening, I consumed a good 15-20 drinks. Yikes! You'd think that I was Scottish or something wink



So...after all the fun, and since we still had the car, Sunday we decided to do the all important deed of going food shopping. This is the day that I discovering the evil that is the Wal*mart Supercentre.

Food shopping, right...so sure we got food, and about double the amount of money we spent on food, we spent on video games. tongue

Cooking Mama, and Resident Evil 4 for the Wii, and on the way over to the food department, I ran into a copy of Loco Roco for PSP which I couldn't leave behind....oh gawd I lurve it!!!



I forgot how freaky Resident Evil was...I haven't played a Resident Evil since PS1, so it's been a while. I thought that I was doing just fine until this huge guy came running up and chainsawed off Leon's head. I had a girly scream moment tongue

The controls in the Wii version are perfect for RE. I remember the frustrating task of aiming the gun with the analog sticks, whereas in the Wii version, you just point and shoot. I likes when the "zombies" esplode biggrin

Cooking Mama is just as much enjoyable on the Wii, as it is on the DS. Frustrating at times, but overall great fun that makes me hungry. Too bad they don't include the recipes for each of those dishes that you get to make...that mochi looked really good.

Besides the exciting weekend, I've pretty much been doing the same old thing that I always do. Go to work, lack a social life...that sort of thing. I'm looking into one of those costly technology colleges...see how far I could get with it. I'm also doing the whole monster.ca business, looking for Toronto jobs that will get me out of Raccoon City.

It's been so long that I've gone without bettering my job/life, I need to make a change this year. Here's hoping for some great news in the next little while. I'm really working hard.
