Friday was a rather bad day.
I forgot to take my medication before going to work, so my body just ached all day.
After that long work day, I went to my car in a hurry to get home. The brakes on my car were seized...great...sooo fortunately enough, a really great guy at work let me use his CAA card, so the tow was free. He also came with me to the mechanic (that he recommended me too), and then drove me home after. This was awesome (especially since he was just doing it to be kind), but still...the car was dead and wouldn't be done until the next day.
After I got home 2 hours after I normally wouldn have, I checked on the modem again (which was flaking out all this week). It had finally died.
So then I was stuck with no car, and no internet...so I drank a bit and spent some quality time with myself in bed. Allllrighht....lol
Well, I got the car back (found out that the parts that were installed previously were cheap pieces of crap
), and got the modem replaced today. As stated in my previous entry, my computer was being a bitch. It is now fixed and I am happy. Apparently all it needed was the jumpers on the harddrives switched around (sorry for all the hard work HexX!).
I've already written enough....but here comes my 20 thingies you don't know about me, thanks to the tag from TimToxic & Jessie
1. I eat Corn Flakes for breakfast almost everyday...and they have to have a huge spoonful of sugar on them
2. I hate getting tanned or burned. I'm in love with my pale white skin.
3. I did not name my cat Reaver, but he was named after the video game "Soul Reaver" (I wanted to call him Raziel, after the same game).
4. I watch Showcase nearly every Friday night. I love all their pervy shows
5. I have had the same article for the SG Burlesque show posted on my cork board since July 2004 (the month it was published).
6. In elementary school and high school I was extremely unpopular, and couldn't get a date for the life of me (at least not with anyone worthwhile).
7. I can't move my baby toe on my right foot. I want to cut it off due to it being extremely useless.
8. I always sing in the car when I'm by myself. When it's not to the radio, it's usually songs from musicals, or VNV Nation.
9. The only sex dreams that I've had recently have all involved Jimmy from Mindless Self Indulgence...
10. I listen to Mindless Self Indulgence for about 90% of the time that I'm listening to music on my computer (in fact, I'm listening to them right now).
11. I have a secret love of Britney Spears' song "Toxic" (ya, like she actually wrote it...).
12. The first concert that I ever went to was The Beach Boys with my parents (I think that I was about 9 at the time!).
13. I believe that when I do die, it will be by my own hand (many many years down the road mind you).
14. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people have far to many "like"s and "um"s in their speech. A few years ago, I spent a couple months training it out of my own speech (though it still happens sometimes...grrr!)
15. I really hate cell phones, and will never ever ever own one. To add to that, I really dislike talking on the phone!
16. I try to act confident around people, but I don't really think that people care about what I have to say most of the time.
17. I'd like to be a mother...but I have many conflicts in my mind about it (overpopulated, and cruel earth, would I want to bring another life into this world?).
18. The only illegal drug that I've ever tried is pot. I have no desire to do it again, or try anything else (ya, I'm such a goody goody).
19. I love the Harry Potter movies, but haven't read any of the books yet...I'm borrowing them, so perhaps I'll get to it soon.

I don't necessarily like my pale skin, but it's not really up to me. I don't tan and I burn extremely easily. I think I say I like it mostly out of sour grapes. Ah well.
And my first concert was Elton John when I was around 8. Huzzah!
