I finally got my skates. One of the most glorious days of my life! So what do I do? Strap them on, go outside, find myself skating down a sloped walkway, and crash my ass into the asphalt.
Of course now that my herniated disc is almost healed, my tailbone is bruised. WTF? Maybe it's a good lesson in patience. Though tonight it's feeling quite a bit better, but it could be the rum. We'll see what the doc says tomorrow.
Last Thursday night we had no practice, due to another event happening at the rink. So some of us went to dinner at Buca di Beppo.
