Luckily my surgery was scheduled with enough time to recover before heading to Defcon in Las Vegas this past weekend. r3v got a new car, with a fancy pants lil media center goin' on, all the better for road trips. And being the sweet sweet wonderful man that he is, surprised me by getting us a jacuzzi suite at the hotel. Got to see a few keen people that I don't see that much. And subjected poor r3v to the assholes that are/were my friends. He had proper warning though.
This Friday night is Survival Research Laboratories downtown. Must remember to purchase earplugs and safety goggles. And take tons of pics of sonic cannons and 2x4 throwing machines and fireballs.
End of the month is the Body Art Expo. I was hoping to get my ribs done on the other side, again by Kate. But I just don't have the means for it. Oh well, she will most likely be back with the convention in the spring.
