I have a new car. I hate saying that. I actually tried to ride a bike fourteen miles to and back from work... once. I got a flat on Northgate Boulevard and that was that. Also, I almost puked a couple of times, almost got hit by a car once, and was so exhausted from the ride that I had to drive the company van with the windows down to keep me awake. It was sad how quickly my ambitions of a life without a car folded so damn easily. So, instead of freeing up a hundred or so bucks a month to use in other bills from The Man, I'm reserving close to five hundred to be just like any other twat out there. I so sad...

On a more ambitious note, I'm going to a comic shop tonight to hang out with some wannabe comic artists. It's some weekly get together for dreamers with pencils and paper. Why bother? Why not. I'd once entertained ideas of being a comic artist, until higher education crushed my will. Oh, happy days those were. My only concern is that they will all be strangers to me. Well, at least for tonight. Still, my bashful side says, "Fuck no!" Screw that... Anyway, going to this silly comic shop doo-hickey gives me an excuse to drive my fucking car. It's a nice car, so I shouldn't gripe.
