I don't care if you ever see this movie. Fuck you. Watch some shitty remake of a classic horror film instead. Go ahead. You know what? This film has horrible reviews. Real shitty ones. So, please, do yourself a favor and watch some stupid rap artist masturbating all over the silver screen in some dumb "urban" thriller and convince yourself it's art. Please. Don't watch this film. I want it all to myself. I want it to be mine. Hell, it is mine. I know what it means to me. I carry it in my heart, for fuck's sake. The director can go fuck himself if he thinks this film isn't mine. He can postulate all he wants, speaking about what the imagery represents or how the ideas or themes came across. Whatever... I appreciate him for creating this work of art enough to take it and run. It is mine. Thank you, Mr. Aronofsky. Now, kindly leave. If you see this picture and find it dull, then you are a shallow wading pool fit for newborn children. If you think of the themes as nothing more than metaphysical doldrums, then you are heartless and black inside. If you shrug off the love Thomas has for his wife in this film, then you sleep alone in your bed every night and cry in your pillow because your soul is dying. This is a true film. This is true ambition captured in blinking lights and whirring machines. Don't watch it. Leave it to me.
