Today I submitted an application to be a live-in volunteer/student at the Tibetan Buddhist Institute on the Sunshine Coast, Chenrezig.
Check it: http://www.chenrezig.com.au
I'm so excited!
I hope I'm worthy enough for them to take me in. I hope that they can take me.
I've been individually learning Tibetan Buddhist teachings, fairly non-commitally over the last few years. It would be an honour to strengthen...

Oh, I love kittens. I really miss my Mum's dog. I think I need to go home just to snuggle her. She's this little old terrier, with a greying nose and triangle brown ears.
I need pet-love! That's a shame you're allergic. What about budgie smudge? Or is it just cats that make you ill?

It is just cats. It has gotten better as the years have gone on. My eyes get really itchy and I can't stop rubbing them.
I'm tired and feeling squirmy.
I want someone to wash my back in the bath, and then rub my tummy and put me to bed.

I think I get where you're coming from, but then again I could be wrong.
Yeah that's pretty much why I'm there.
Indeed, but its kind of addictive and I'm probably don't need another addiction

I'm used to the idea that people are going to randomly find you, but its more the fact that now everyone I go its too a little too interlinked, I crave my freedom again .

I'm probably the only man on this site with my own luffa... errr...

Alas the price of been fed, is hours upon hours of lecture at best (why no doctor? Why no IT, etc, are you not ashamed etc?), if I get fed at all (the lectures and complaints seem to come free though).
Money for me is just a means to an end (sensory experiences/knowledge and travel) so it is that weigh up for me. I know I need the cash, but I really hate the idea of being tied down, so yes on my own terms and for my own reasons are things I need. Sausage soup isn't a bad thing, honestly, its just I didn't have a lot of it.
Me I'd do the commercial thing for cash if it wasn't soul draining, and there was some creative/intellectual challenge to it. I want to use my brain, I don't want a job where I am the zombie, I don't want a life where I'm one either.
Yours was a very petite rant.

What you wrote in my journal was so very right and helped me decide to take the office job!
I've been working in music retail for about 8 years now and done countless christmas's and every year i say "I will not do this again next year". I love my music and i am very good at it, but the thought of having nights off and weekends is just too good to pass up. Work has been making me feel terribly guilty though and the shit i will have to put up with for the next week or so will suck, but then life goes on!
Where do you work now? Obviously not in retail, but i guess most other jobs would allow for you to go and visit the sea and relax/revive! I like water, but in a more tranquil kind of setting. I like lakes and rivers but not a huge fan of the ocean. Kind of scared of the sun too...haha...
Hopefully someday you come visit our beautiful little city!! Take care missy

Yes! Bertie Bettle managed to come home with me.
Just.
It was almost a disaster - but like everything, it worked out with a little bit of sneaking into side show alley as it was closing. A very covert operation to obtain some Berties!
Have you Ekker'ed before?

I've have such an incredible weekend, filled with extraordinary people in extraordinary situations.
I've been to both the SG Brissy Ball, and a good friend of mine's Christian Baptism. One after the other. But more on that later.
I think what has made this weekend so incredible, is that I've not been stressed about my creative writing project. I freed myself from the stress of...

Yes yes, All of those things are very right. I ... forget most of them in the space of time it took to move between our pages, but perhaps we discuss it at your dinner tonight..?
By the way, I'm going to read it again after you, then.

Your intuition was good then, and thoroughly appreciated.
Trust me it wasn't great pride that made me say it, it could have been "excuse me if a couple of partridges burst out of my chestpiece" (not that I had partridges). Name=identifier but other than what ever you want it to be? It was good, not one of the best concerts I've been to (I can hear the lynch mob behind me) but I definitely enjoyed myself.

Today, I am contemplating the possibility that everything I have ever wanted, lusted for, worked on, yearned for, strived towards is already mine for the taking:
"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you."

Hello gorgeous - welcome amongst our online selves.
s_eldorado:
BTW, have you seen "Castle in the Sky" (aka Laputa)?
If not, we'll have to watch it when I get back.

How do you set this stuff up?
Not that I'm able to do any of it.
(After I finish at QUT I want to pursue a Taiko apprenticeship which means another year or two spoken for!)
Good to see things starting to move, but then by the sound of it, you're making that for yourself.
