2 liters are the way to go. Why do people buy 20 ounce bottles of pop when 2 liters are much more economical? People are naturally inclined to drink 20 ounce bottes faster, just because of the size. This leads to more caffeine & sugar crashes faster, at a faster rate. Crashes generally make people lethargic and/or cranky. The result of a faster crash would likely lead to buying another bottle of pop to combat the adverse effect of the first one, and so the cycle continues. If we bought more 2 liters much of this could avoided. Obviously, for the price of one 20 ounce pop, you can get the equivalent of over three times the fluid ounces as a 20 ounce with a 2 liter. The only drawback, some may say, is that we need to pour the pop from a 2 liter into another cup, possibly a minor convenience. However, the advantage of this is twofold. The first fold is that you have more of a measured control of your caffeine intake, simply from the nature of the 2 liters size: 2 liters. Nobody in their right mind would slam an entire 2 liter, would they? Secondly folding, the necessary addition of ice to pop from a 2 liter bottle contributes to a more overall pleasant experience with drinking the beverage. The ice keeps the beverage colder of course, but also adds to the overall volume of the drink inside of the cup, leading to less actual consumption of the soda itself. Slower, more measured soda consumption leads to less crashes at a slower rate. This leads to making people more energetic for longer periods of time & less ill-tempered. Unless you're on the go & a 20 ounce, or god forbid, a fountain drink is the only convenient way to secure some soda, you'd be foolish not to buy 2 liters instead.
