So my boyfriend and I decided not to buy a house, instead we're going to rent. Maybe a house, maybe an apartment, maybe a condo and at this point we just may get a big old washing machine box and live in that! Prices are crazy. I don't want to live in some hole in the wall apartment because it's a cheaply priced. Paying the price for the nice one's I might as well being paying a morgage and knowing the property belongs to me and I can do what ever I want to it and in it! The only reason we are renting is because my boyfriend is in a band and there's been some rumors flying around that when they finish their present time in the studio and produce this what should be an awesome record. They may be picked up by a label and from there they may just tour. I respect my boyfriend for telling me straight up, he doesn't want to buy a house and then leave me with a big old morgage to pay by myself. We all know there is no money when you are first touring. I love him for that and he has my support. But it sucks! At this point I just may decide to live at home with my parents the rest of my life. I just want to find a place to live at reasonable prices and still be a nice place to call my home!
