well, i was supposed to do a dissection on either a cat or a pig in anatomy class this past saturday.. i thought i would be able to handle the pig.. i definitly knew i couldn't cut into a cat, especially since i found out these cats are raised on a farm then killed specifically for us to disect them... (so wrong)... anyway... i walked into the lab, and the instructor had already dissected a cat, i guess so we could look at it and make sure we were doing it right... well i saw that cat cut open with it's insides hanging out... and i just burst into tears... i called my teacher into the hall, and i told her there was no way i could do this... she was very understand, and said we would work something out.. i told her i didn't want to fail, and she said i wouldn't... next week we are supposed to be having a quiz, where we come into the room and the animals will be disected with their body parts taged and we have to tell what body parts are what... so obviously i won't be able to take that quiz either.. i'm hoping my teacher will let me do a virtual dissection online.. i don't know yet, i haven't asked her...

other than saturday being crappy, my week is not going too terribly bad..i'm on day 7 of a 10 day straight work week.. i can't wait till friday and saturday when i'm off... only problem is my boss always schedules me off on fridays and saturdays, and those are the days i have class at 830 am.. so i never get to sleep in, and never have a complete day to myself to do only what i want.. oh well..
