so i want to be a nurse right... i've wanted to be a nurse for a few years now.... Why do colleges have to make it so fucking hard for a person to persue the career they want? In order to get into the nursing program, i have to take anatomy/phsiology classes. But i have to pass a placement test to get into the anatomy class... and i failed that test today by 3 points... so i have to take it again VERY soon cause the anatomy class will be full soon... if i can't pass the test, then i can't apply for the nursing program in january, which means i'll have to wait another whole year to apply.
Also, their are only 40 seats in the nursing classes, and over 100 people usually apply for the program, so my chances of getting in on the first try are not too good... I've been taking college classes for 8 years... so naturally, i don't have a 4.0 gpa, cause i haven't gotten all A's in all my classes... i have over 100 credits, but yet they will probably give the seats in the program to someone coming in off the street who's never taken a college course (except the anatomy classes) and has a 4.0 gpa... I don't think this is fair at all... I have college experiance, i have a degree.. i have all my general education requirements completed... that should stand for something.. but it doesn't... they just want to see a 4.0 gpa...

I've not had the best day if you can't tell... ugh... so sick of school...
