I believe that you reserve gifts for the wedding shower and wedding as those are the only proper occasions that traditionally require gifts , you can allway get them a nice card and a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant , but bear in mind that if you are gonna be in the wedding party you will also be spending on a tux and dress for the two of you , so don't go overboard
