my weekend was good, very lazy which i needed very much after the long week i had at training in Miami-dade... Saturday we stayed home all day....i slept most of the day which was nice. Sunday we went to winndixie and got some groceries and also to holly wood video where i rented the finding nemo video game and also a PAC man game for ps2... we went down the strip a little to CD warehouse and we got Christmas vacation, lean on me, and the Osbourne's 1st season.... Monday we did laundry and cleaned up... overall it was a nice weekend...
my first day as a bank teller for regions bank north fort lauderdale branch, located on north federal highway just south of Oakland park blvd:
i got up early Monday morning to get ready and as i was putting on my make-up in the bathroom the lights went out....strange thing.... the ac and fridge were still working.... i had to be at work by 9:30 so i got ready and then left the house in the rain forgetting my folder... got half way to the branch and had to turn around and go home to get it... i got to work at 9:25..... i met the assistant manager etc. i didn't get set up with my drawer and stuff till 2:00p.m....there are 4 teller windows and there were a total of 4 tellers there including me.... but Travis's' (the head teller) station was leaking b/c of the rain so that station was out of commission... well i got set up at 2 and did some transactions and then the banking center closed at 4 and then i got to man the walk up window, we don't have any drive thru windows... so from 4- 5 i manned the walk up station and then i closed out and did the routine and i balanced.... which i was very happy about.... so i got out of there around 5:15 - 5:30 and went to the dollar store... since i was standing up from 9:30 to 2 my feet were killing me...
we went to Boston market for dinner then to home depot to get a long extension cord and surge protector....so now i have my TV and computer plugged in.... so I'm happy...
the property management people called their electrician and their electrician is supposed to call us and set up a time to come fix the problem... I'm not
holding my breath.....
