Friday night the man and i went to the hard rock casino and hotel in Hollywood...we met up with Liz and Eric... they had been there before so they showed us around outside all the little clubs, restaurants and shops... we saw the hotel pool which was really pretty, beach entry into the pool with sand, 2 or 3 waterfalls.... the casino is very nice and there are a lot of places to go and eat... we walked around and looked at all the old memorabilia on the wall, it was really neat...i took some pictures .... we watched this "live" band play and a bunch of old old old people do funny dances...it was cute....we at the Blue Plate, a art deco kind of restaurant on the outskirts of the casino... i had the Rockin' Club Sandwich w/ chips... the man had steak w/ mashed potatoes (which were a mistake) and fries... Liz had the Cuban sandwich (funny she's cuban) and Eric had a Turkey Burger.... now to the good stuff.... Eric carries a man purse...a fanny pack on his shoulder....lol.... so any who that night was the first and last time i go out of my way to make Eric feel welcome...granted he did not make any sexual comments towards me or anyone else...except the hooters comment...yeah i really want to work at hooters.... so pervs like you can stare at my boobs all day....any who.... he did make a lot of rude comments which just added to my aggravation...and to top the night off... he and Liz parked in the employee parking (now why they did this i do not know... parking is free unless you do valet) so at the beginning of the night he kept saying that he was hoping he didn't get towed....well he got towed and had to hoof it out to the middle of no where to find the car...lmao all night long....
Saturday we went to the mall and i got new pots, pans, baking dishes, and mixing bowls... our old ones were very cheap and the Teflon was coming off... so i got a seven piece stainless steel set, Pyrex baking dishes, mixing bowls and cups....they are really nice... i also got a cookbook.... so Saturday night i made Spicy Chicken and Rice Bake... my first REAL meal made from scratch...it was so good and we still have leftovers....i made enough for 6.... we also rented movies Saturday... we watched Super Size me that night... it really makes me never want to eat fast food again... yuck...
Sunday morning Jorge came over to help the man fix the car.... it really didn't need fixing it was just missing this little rubber head that had something to do with the coolant.... all fixed now. we returned supersize me, stopped at dunkin donuts and got two coffee coolatas and did laundry then came home and i made Lemon Creme-Sauced Pasta with Asparagus and Squash...it was good...no leftovers...lol...i love to cook now...lol...
I've got a lot to do for work right now...
