well, back from a small island up the coast of BC.... my other son lives there, he's a sweet little fella but because of the "love child" nature of the situation... He lives far away and i dont see him often and it makes it wierd for us...His name is Hunter..he's great, im trying to make it up there more often. Now I am back in Vancouver, happily surrounded by buildings and bridges and people and coffee shops.... 
I know what you mean about telling people how much you love them.
One of my ex bf's (who i'm still on great terms with), his mum has lung cancer, and lumps have shown up in her neck. He's so distraught, he has such a close bond with his mum.
