Alright, weekend's over. I realized how boring it really is in Spokane, so I spent the day mulling over transferring to school in SoCal. I sent away for applications to LMU and Pepperdine, we'll see what happens. Dammit, why did I have to enjoy LA so much?
My school lost to Arizona in double overtime. I admit, I didn't even think that would happen. Yes, we lost, but still....Arizona, 2OT? I wouldn't have wanted to lose any other way.
As far as this war is concerned, I told myself that I wouldn't really comment on it since I had exhausted myself on the subject before it even began...but you know, who am I to complain about it when we have men and women (whether they agree with the war or not) busting their ass to carry out orders from a man who (maybe honestly, who knows..the guy is a horrible speaker, how deceitful can he be?) believes that he is protecting us from some imminent and/or future threat.
If the threat is real, I doubt that we as citizens would be fully informed of such possibility. But if the war is about resources, revenge, or other personal gain....then may certain people receive just due. I'm not trying to engage myself in a full blown debate about the war, just airing something that I felt I needed to see myself type to an audience of people that I don't necessarily know.
Okay. Time for homework, I get to read two books and write a paper tonight. Yay.
Oh and I'm in SGPDX and SGLA now, so when I'm in those cities, let's drink!
