i tried to go to the cinema to see passolini's salo this evening. i was the only customer. they gave me the ticket free. i left and went to talk about cathars and conspiracy with my very lovely friend instead. what's wrong wiith this damn city?

I only briefly read about the Cathars as that episode in the Papacy was considered a crusade, which is my usual field of studies. I'll have to read up on em. Didnt Catharism stem from an earlier group in Byzantine territories a couple of hundred years before?

My local supermarket now stocks Fraoch, for which I am happy and cause much restocking of shelves.

I was nostalgic for the 80's at the begininng of the month. Then over christmas I saw that series about the various years. I've managed to stop laughing now and no longer feel nostalgic. Still reckon they should rescreen Monkey! though.

I missed the real derek and clive. I think I was watching vids. As there was crap on the TV videos got the overwhelming majority. Every christmas the same, its either videos or James Bond repeats and some old lady in a crown rambling how her life is bad. Wish I knew who she was so I could tell her to stop whining

Well, its not that I need much of an excuse to sit in a pub and have a few jars but it was quite handy, escpecially as the pub is opposite my flat. Saves on the old shoe leather
