saw the sisters of mercy last night. tight, vital set. way too much dry ice and hand-dancing middle-aged gothery tho.
been feeling ok recently. not too up, not too down. good week for ideas too. which of course means that next week will be a whole shedload of work getting them out of me brain and onto sheets of paper. i think the break in london was what i needed.
as my birthday looms i've been thinking too about how much has changed, and how little. sometimes i feel isolated from my own life, as if i'm watching a film, always one step removed. at others i feel that everything's far too real, too close to me. sometimes i feel both of these things at the same time. this has never changed.
