I'm amazed I've made it through today. Something was against me from the moment I woke up.
I won't list the endless minor annoyances of the day but if I do ever see the bird that did that to my front dorr handle I'll put a .22 through it's chest!
Meanwhile, in the land of me, the TrailWalker event has come and gone for 2009. 100km by foot across the beautiful South Downs of England. It took me 27 hours and 11 minutes to complete and I can't tell you what it felt to cross under the finish sign and collapse to the ground exhausted, hot, salty and tired. We raised over 1500 for Oxfam so I feel proud I've done my bit.
On to the Ten Tors event now...I really am mad.
