C and I just set our back porch on fire. It was an accident but there were two cans of tarnish there which probably made it worse. I don't know how full they were but it is certain that the porch will have to be repaired, probably on our dime. About an eighth of it got burnt pretty badly.

The culprit was a plastic flower pot, we were using as an ashtray. It had grown full of cigarette butts. We had a smoke before work (terrible) and I guess one of those butts did not go out and lit up all of the rest of them.

No one was hurt and no personal property was damaged, just the common property of the condo.

Now its time to pay the piper.
