Okay...I saw the link in a comment made by Sorcha, whose name I am waiting to steal (I check it every day). Then in the writing group.

I got looked down the precipice and decided I would take the plunge..

I'm doing the NaNoWriMo writing marathon. The goal is to produce 50,000 words by midnight November 30th. Ideally something well written. Technically it must be fictional.

I decided to make it about a garbage man, since I figure it may all be garbage.

So there it is. Characters, plot, structure, subplots, and about 2500 words a day from today on. That's 5 times what I have already yesterday - my first day. It doesn't sound realistic but I just want to see where I fall and collapse.

So, if I become a little less known around here for the next few weeks, you'll know why.

After initially jumping in to get something, anything, on digital paper, I'm going to spend today hashing out the structure elements as I am pretty sure I know what I am writing now. What I have so far is crap, by the way, but the muses are making an effort so I will dutifully plug on.
