People take religion way too seriously.
I can't understand how so many well-read and intelligent people cannot seem to grasp that religions are MAN-MADE.
While there very well may be a "god" (and I believe so) Religious ideals, just like money and greed in general, are both the source of happines and the cause of most of the world's problems...
Dumb fucking christians take shit so seriously that they have to stick their hands in everywhere to try to "save" us naive heathens from the devil by removing rock/rap albums with "distasteful" contnet and other such nonsense...
Bunch of fuckin' self-righteous, holier than thou mother fuckers... I know, I was raised as a United Methodist.
For you waiters/waitresses out there you can honestly grasp a piece of the way Christian people are:
If you have ever had a regular Sunday AM shift then you know that people coming from church are generally the rudest, cheapest, most condescending and physically the ugliest people that will come into the restaurant all fucking week. While the pastor or reverend drives to the church picnic in his brand new $50,000 Navigator...

And don't even get me started on the dipshit muslims. These fucking dingbats are worse than Americans in the sense that - people say America plays "policeman to the world." It's hard to say I disagree because America does it in the name of peace and democracy (which have worked fairly well for us so far, we just try to get something out of it each time we stick our noses in other people's business which makes us shitty)
Well, muslims of late try to play JESUS WITH AN IRON FIST to the world by trying to literally destroy everyone who does not follow their own religious and political ideals. What do they get out of it? What are they trying to get out of it? Uh...

Oh, and the Hindu. Anyone who truly worships cows and in a triad of four-armed god/godessess is just strange. However, one redeeming quality is that one never hears of "Hindu Extremists." Maybe that's just because I don't live in India...
All in all it seems fairly peaceful enough. Hell the fuckin' Mahatma was a peaceful man...
Now, Judaism is fairly decent , but still riddled with turmoil what with all the other dipshit religions who hate the Jews for some reason or another... However it remains a very traditional religion and therefore retains its nobility in my eyes. 3000 years of beautiful tradition from Moses to Sandy Koufax...
Now the weed smokin' rastfari... Hey man, I got no beef with Halie Selassie. These generally peace-loving peole can have the Carribean and Mt. Zion and Ethiopia and all the sweet leaf ganja they need... LION OF JUDAH! H.I.M.
The only religion that remains most noble in my eyes is Buddhism. You see the Buddha, or Siddhartha Guatama, never claimed to be a god! He simply said to people: "This is the way I believe you should live. It works for me and I am happy. I'd like you to feel the harmony that I feel."
Later, after his teachings spread is when his followers started to revere him as a god. Although I am not a Buddhist, I have the most respect for the origin of Buddhism just because Siddhartha Guatama never felt he had to "make up" a story like:
Muhammad did - "I just ... er.. up and felt like walking into the desert one day and I just HAPPENED to run into the angel Gabriel!! He spoke to me telling me to start a religion and conquer the world in the name of Islam..." Yeah right...
...or all the damn stories of Jesus this, Abraham that, Moses hit me with a whiffle-ball bat..." Give it up already...
You see, back then, in the days of no televison, no media, no police, etc, people believed whatever the ruling class or government told them to believe. (kinda like today sadly enough)
Think about it: For example; if a man like David Koresh who formed the Branch Davidian christian religion in the early 1990's (in a world full of television, radio, instant communincation, INTERNET...) could get hundreds of relatively intelligent people (teachers, doctors, etc...) and other people to follow his teachings and get these people to let him fuck their 12 year old daughters in the name of "christ," then just imagine what a man of equal or greater charisma could have done in the world 0f 700-1000 years ago! These are where religions are created; in the MINDS OF MEN, and then, because of the way information traveled in the olde world, the men of governments realized how they could use religion as a means of power control, and people BELIEVED what they were told and it became TRADITION. The big religions of today are biproducts of the naivety and bucolic characteristics of the majority of dumbass people who were/are to weak-minded to think for themsleves!!!
Now let me finish by stating that I know just as well as you that there are plenty of christains, muslims, jews and hindus that are very good people who know how to treat their religion and who know how to respect other people and their views. People who know how to keep their religious views in their own frames of reference. My hat goes of to these people who have risen above the cattle-quality of the mindless masses...
As for me? I'm going to get a beer, play a show and smoke a pack of cigs and cuss my brains out while I hope for a piece of ass to come my way. I worship the drive of my LOINS!!! Yeah!

There are some seriously screwed up people out there man. This country (The UK, Britain, whatever you want to call it) Is seriously shit. This Christmas because of certain people's religion, shops aren't allowed to have Santa or Carol Singers, what kind of screwed up shit is that all about? This country is being taken over ... and I know who they are, fuckers should head back home and seriously not mess! That doesn't go for all of them because there are a lot I respect.
Britain is for the British (I don't just mean White people, but people who were born here of all races) as other countries are for their own, religion gets in the way of everything. If I was in Iran, Iraq, Tanzania, Turkey, I wouldn't try to change the way they think, so why should we be lead to change our ways. Fuck religion and all it stands for!
