I told my girlfriend we were going to visit a friend of mine in Philadelphia, and that we would spend a night at her parents on the eastern shore of Maryland. We Woke up in Philly, and my friend gave us directions to her parents. We took 95 to Baltimore. When we got to Baltimore I told my gal that I was taking 295 as a shortcut. When we got off at the airport, she asked if we were lost. Yes, I said, we're lost and I need directions. She told me she knew I would get lost. When we passed the A&W rootbeet and gas station, she asked why I didn't stop for directions. I told her I thought I knew where I was going now. A sign for the Bay Bridge appeared. She told me she was glad I figured it out. We turned into the Long Term Parking at the airport. She asked why I turned into the parking lot. I said, "Because this is where we have to park the car when we get on that airplane."

We went to the Aer Lingus desk, and I handed her her passport. We flew to Dublin, and rented a car. I drove her to Meath and the Hill to Tara, and on the Hill of Tara, at the Lia Fail, the Stone of Destiny, the Coronation Stone of the High Kings, I asked her to marry me and gave her her ring. She said yes!

Then we spent the rest of the day in Meath - Newgrange, Monasterboice, Mellefont Abbey. Then to Dublin for three days of fun. We just got back yesterday.
