I've been invited to a new year party at my mates house but he wants me to do the music. I'm just going to do some iTunes playlists on my powerbook stick it in a cupboard and set up an airport extreme network! I love technology love

80s is the theme and we've gotta go fancy dress. so I'm thinking maybe of a new romantic style ... I'll have to nick some of my sisters makeup, any excuse! wink

I'm a bit concerened as I'm not exactly overflowing with 80s music though - might have to tour round everyones cd collections!!!

"don't you want me?" by human league has a great build-up to the chorus and will definitely get everyone singing along. but you have to play it at the halfway point of the party, when drinks are freely flowing and inhibitions are low and energy is still high.
