Really, I need to be realistic about this. This is a post on a blog on a site primarily known for naked girls. How many people will ever really tear themselves away from boobies and read this little yibber-yabber? But then again...

With anonymity comes...the opposite of responsibilty. Like Spider-man in reverse. This is a place where what I saw is simultaneously absolutely public---or at least, open to those who look at naked goth girls---but also intensely private and secret.

The question then becomes: what do I have to say which I would like to be both private and public? What secrets would I like to confess, fears and hopes and maybe some desires, dark damp things I usually keep inside and deny even to myself...

But maybe I'll just show off some shwag:



Nothing feels as good as cluttering up a new hard drive with pointless junk rather than doing your summer reading. Plus, the new MacBook has a really nice, firm keyboard to encourage me to write long and pointless posts with minimal payoff!

And exactly how do I take pictures of my new toy even though I have no digital camera? By using a mirror, of course, as weel as the (usually silly) Photo Booth app...
