Birds are kewl.

Just this past weekend a whole crew of woodpeckers invaded my backyard, including three pileateds. It was fun.

I have never mist-netted, but my sister has - she's a much bigger bird-nerd than I am, and is currently doing a field position on an island in the canadian maritimes. I hope you get the field position - my sister is loving hers, even if it's practically unpaid.

Oh, and the only problem with oatmeal soap is that it doesn't have brown sugar in it, and it makes me want to eat whoever smells of it.
