Both my iPhone and Martin La Casse's "Three Sixty Five' arrived last Thursday. Love them both. The book is awesome, has so many killer designs in it, I'm slowly getting an idea as to what I want -- ah who am I kidding, I've got no idea and it's driving me nuts! I remember seeing a really amazing image on my mate's calender which was all about death & darkness, which would be perfect for a sleeve.. I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

I'm back into Atreyu. I know, they're 'emo', they're crap. But it takes me back to when I was 13 and didn't have a care in the world... well, except the fact that I was really, really lonely and confused at that point in my life.

Regardless, I'm still digging it.'The Curse' is still crazy good, especially Bleeding Mascara and You Eclipsed by Me. "A Death Grip on Yesterday" is still a good album, it's a lot more mature than "The Curse". But not long after that came out, I was over them. So I never got into "Lead Sails Paper Anchor", but I actually do like it now.. some songs are pretty shit, but Doomsday and Can't Happen Here are pretty damn awesome. And even though they're not anything like old Atreyu, Blow and Lead Sails (And A Paper Anchor) are killer rock tracks.

The new album starts off with a bang, I remember buying it only a couple of months ago and being amazed by the first track, it's insane. Then it slides and slides and slides and ends up being pretty shit. But the first track is good. biggrin

I like getting into old music I used to listen to. I was listening to Funeral for a Friend on the way to work too. Christ, Atreyu & Funeral for a Friend, I really was a little emo. I just didn't dress like it. tongue

And because I love this song to death, I'm going to throw it in at the bottom. If they had played it live at the LA gig, I would have cried. Seriously.
